Senator Qdos High back executive Chair Description

QDOS with its striking form and an eye for detailing and simplistic clean lines are nothing but deceiving. Beneath the finest leather and a crisp aluminium frame is pure engineering innovation. ; its exoskeleton moulds and contours to your body meaning you get the utmost support whilst sat in a chair that demands prestige.

The tilt action is fully integrated into the engineering solution for the structural aluminium elements of the chair providing a fluid synchronised tilt. Controls to regulate the tension of the mechanism are incorporated into the forward arms of the under-seat giving the user ease to adjust upright lock and adjust the seat height.

The high back QDOS chair incorporates a height adjustable neck rest that has been designed to provide additional support whilst reclining.

If the item is ( Made to Order) you can find the lead time under the Add to Basket Button (these are as accurate as possible)

Products showing PRE ORDER are items we have coming back in to stock and the dates are on the product pages. When you buy a pre order item it is reserved and when it arrives with us we ship it on to you please allow 3 working days after date shown for delivery.

Detail

Integral to the development of Qdos was the development of a bespoke tilting action, the structure and geometry of which is fully incorporated into the final form of the chair. Its design provides a fluid synchronized tilt, its innovative engineering providing a dynamic reclining function.

Form

Form follows function or so they say. We prefer form equals function. Everything must have a purpose and no matter how good something looks, it can’t compromise on the true origins and intent of a product. Qdos is the perfect balance. Striking but supportive.

Materiality

Qdos has been created to work with some of the most luxurious, sustainable and high quality fabrics and leathers that we could find. Because we haven’t compromised on any single detail of our finest ever chair.

Meet The Designer

Justus Kolberg has been running his own design studio in Hamburg since 1997 after completing his studies in industrial design at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel in 1990. Justus has received numerous honors including the IF Hannover Product Design Award, the Red Dot Design Centrum NRW, the IDEA-Gold Industrial Design Excellence Award and the Japanese Good Design Award.
