Information about the Graphite 23103 Textile
Graphite 23103 is part of Herman Miller’s 8Z Pellicle range which also includes Carbon 23102, Mineral 23101 and Black 23105. 8z Pellicle is used for the seat and backrests across the Aeron office chair range, and is 56% elastomeric, along with 44% polyester.
In terms of sustainability, 8Z Pellicle in Graphite 23103 is classified PFAS-Free, PVC Free, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, produced with Targeted Chemical Elimination, has No Prop 65 Warning, is FR Free, and LBC Red List Compliant.
Aeron Graphite Base Information
The standard version of the Herman Miller Graphite Aeron features an injection moulded base and frame, in Graphite G1 (from their Central Palette). The material is PVC Free, Phthalate Free, FR Free, Low Emitting and has no Prop 65 Warning.
A large number of Herman Miller chairs contain this material such as the Asari, Embody, Caper, Cosm and Mirra 2. It can also be found in Ambit Workspaces, Meridian Storage and accessories such as holders, trays and Ubi Work Tools.
Aeron Graphite Standard vs Executive Chair
The standard version of the Aeron in Graphite comes with a frame and base in Graphite G1, an injection moulded plastic. The Executive Aeron features a polished aluminium finish.
