Mirra 2 with TriFlex Back from Office Chairs UK
With no fabric covering the perforated polymer design, the TriFlex back enables you to see the genius behind it’s construction. With 3 areas (the top and sides) working in tandem to adjust to the way you lean on it, the TriFlex perfectly demonstrates the ethos behind its name.
The structure is held in place by the ‘loop spine’ support on the back of the chair, providing strength while allowing flexibility to the front of the backrest.

Along with the Mirra 2, the TriFlex back can be found on the Verus office chair, which is alternatively presented with a mesh back. Not as fancy as the Mirra 2, the Herman Miller Verus was designed as affordable, whilst maintaining a high level of comfort.

Design aesthetics, along with how easy the chair is to clean, are the main factors which separate the TriFlex and Butterfly variations. Where some users may find the Butterfly back more luxurious due to the fabric membrane, others opt for the open design of the TriFlex to reduce the risk of the material tearing or snagging over the long term.
